While in the sub yard, I was reading a birth announcement for Laura Ann from my Dad ... as I puzzled, a co-worker said, "What ... are you counting back?" I replied, "No, it's my 49-year old Dad." What a surprise!!!!!! Laura Beth was planned by the way. I called my Dad to ask if it was OK to name Laurie Laura ... he said sure, she would be the first great-grandchild named after Grandma. I was stunned. We were naming Laurie after the nostalgic song "Laura" which I played on the organ. (and won free dance tickets by name the mystery song at a Peony Park dance in Omaha while dancing with a girl that mother wished I had married.)
